Monday Thru Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Appointment Coordinator

 This is an Hourly Pay position. This position starts at $10.00 per hour/ 40 Hours per week. Your duties include Data Entry and Status Updates. 

Hours are:

Monday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm ( 1 hour lunch break)

Tuesday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm ( 1 hour lunch break)

Thursday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm ( 1 hour lunch break)

Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm ( 1 hour lunch break)

Saturday 08:00 am - 12:00 pm

Sunday Off

OTR Driver

 50 cents per mile or 30% of the Truck Line Haul. We offer different opportunities to fit a driver's needs. 2 week dispatch. 

Satellite Associate

Contractor,   Experienced in Freight Brokerage or the Transportation Industry and willing to learn. ( Satellite office)  

Sales Associate

Employee Position

Salary + Company Car+ Bonuses + Benefits


Contractor Position

Earn up to 20% of the commission on every Load for accounts you bring to the agency. 



Satellite agency Training

We have two great training facilities

  • If you are located in the Western U.S. Paula and Stephen Warner have a great office located in a commercial building in Longview, TX. Paula has been the most successful satellite operation in the history of our agency. Paula is now an Agency Vice President. This gives Paula the opportunity to train other Satellite offices that will work under her direction and follow in her success.


  • If you are located in the Eastern U.S. We will bring you into the office located in Cumberland Gap Tn for training. This is where Don Ellis is located and he will work with along with others in the Office to make sure you get a full understanding of the freight business.

Training Requirements

  1. You must be able to visit one of our training facilities for a minimum of one week at your expense.
  2. You must be willing to work the satellite office full time, This is not a part time job.
  3. You must be located inside the U.S.
  4. You must be willing to grow your business and customer base. We encourage all satellite operations to move into a Commercial office space within 24 months from start date.
  5. You must sign a non compete prohibiting you from jumping between Landstar agencies or trying to help another brokerage do business with an agency customer.
  6. You must be able willing to learn our system and follow it to become successful

Agency opened in 2008

After Driving Over The Road for 10 Years and owning a small fleet of 5 Trucks, Don decided to open a freight Brokerage. After looking into many options, He decided to Partner with Landstar. Don and His Wife Tammy Started working the agency in 2008 from Home. The main focus was to provide better service to the customers than his competition, and to always be up front and honest with the drivers about every detail of the load, Good and Bad.

Bringing on Employees And Contractors

In 2010 the agency had grown. It was time to start hiring more help. It did not take long to figure out that this job is not for everyone. The reward was finding other people who this does work for and teaching them to be successful.

Opening an Office

After a couple year of working from home and hiring others to work from Home Don & Tammy opened an Office Located in Harrogate TN. This allowed the agency to hire more Employees and continue to grow.

Growing Office Space

 In 2018  Shipment Transport, Inc ( A Landstar Agency) Became the top producing agency in our region. This encouraged us to  move into a Larger office on Hwy 63 in Cumberland Gap TN. This location has Truck Parking , Highway Frontage, and Plenty of room to bring on more Employees.


We also decided to make a training facility out of the Longview office operated by Paula Warner. Paula has a proven track record of customer service and revenue production. With her experience Paula will be a great example for new Satellite agents to learn under. 

CEO Circle at Landstar

2018 made the 10th Year that Don & Tammy Ellis were agents for Landstar. They received the honor of being inducted into the CEO Circle at Landstar. This Honor requires a minimum of 10 years as a successful agency with very high requirements in Performance.
