INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR Furnishes:
Power Unit (Tractor Only or Tractor/Trailer Combination)
Compensation Rate: 65% of 100% of Adjusted Gross Revenue (“AGR,” defined below)
Regular Trailer (Van and Drom) (see NOTE below)
Compensation Rate: 7% of 100% of AGR in addition to compensation for Power Unit
Regular Trailer (Flat, Extendible Flat – Up to 90’, Step Deck, Extendible Step Deck) (see NOTE below)
Compensation Rate: 8% of 100% of AGR in addition to compensation for Power Unit
Specialized Trailer (Double-Drop, Tri-Axle, Insulated Van w/Heater) Only When Combined with Power Unit (see NOTE below)
Compensation Rate: 9% of 100% of AGR in addition to compensation for Power Unit
Refrigerated Trailer (Temperature Controlled Van) Only When Combined with Power Unit (see NOTE below)
Compensation Rate: 10% of 100% of AGR in addition to compensation for Power Unit
Heavy Haul Trailer (4 or more Axles on Trailer, Blade Trailer, Extendible Flat – Greater than 90’) Only When Combined with Power Unit (see NOTE below)
Compensation Rate: 10% of 100% of AGR in addition to compensation for Power Unit
Power Unit (A Class 1–6 Heavy Pickup or Towing Unit or Heavy Pickup/Gooseneck Trailer Combination) – Class 1–6
Compensation Rate: 62% of 100% of AGR
Gooseneck or similar light trailer Only When Combined with Class 1–6 Power Unit (see NOTE below)
Compensation Rate: 8% of 100% of AGR in addition to compensation for Class 1–6 Power Unit
NOTE: Trailer compensation, applicable as set forth above, will be payable to INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR where INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR is pulling a trailer rented from CARRIER under a Trailer Rental Addendum for which trailer rental charges have been charged to INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR by CARRIER. Trailer compensation will not be payable to INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR if INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR is pulling a trailer provided by CARRIER or Carrier’s customer for which no trailer rental charges under a Trailer Rental Addendum have been charged to INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR by CARRIER.
